Local Budget Transparency Index

The Local Budget Transparency ranking for Adamawa is based on self-reported answers to 15 questions about the quality of local councils' budget processes which seek to: (i) establish whether key budget documents are produced, published and disseminated in ways that allow media and citizens to review the budget; (ii) assess the quality of planning, including revenue and expenditure forecasts.

The data was collected in 2010 and 2011 and includes all but two of the municipalities of the Adamawa region.
